People say that life imitates art. Meaning that their is things out here that we just see as regular things but we don't really see it as art or a beautiful thing. In this project i had to take 12 pictures in total, 3 for value showing something that is qualitative, 3 pictures that showed a shape geometric like a rectangle or square, 3 for texture showing if it s rough or smooth, and 3 vertical or horizontal lines.
I took a simple picture that showed line. How it goes around the pool and its just straight narrow lines. I focused it mainly the ones that were in front .
For this one I chose to take it because it showed shape, which was a rectangle, and it was repeated on the whole wall. It also a shows texture. I also focus this one mainly on the lines and shapes it had.
I wanted to show how the texture looked and to actually get the picture to set and focus on the dents it had and how rough it feels.
For this one, i had to make sure it was focused on the sun, and the rest I needed it to come out dark and show value of the sun. Value means the quality of something, like the sun is shiny and bright and warm and he rest of it is dark and cool making the sun pop out.
